Jose is a top notch guide. Very knowledgable. We saw over 100 bird species including a harpy eagle, 8 species of monkey, giant river otters, capybara, numerous frogs & lots of insects. Very satisfied.

Our 7-day birding tour to Manu Cultural Zone was excellent, with the guidance of an excellent guide. Alex shepered us around with care, knowledge and an endearing playful quality.  We saw over 200 species of bird plus assorted animals and insects. Ramiro, the cook, did a great job! His cooking was considerably better than the food served elsewhere.

Boat trips were excellent - driver (Ricardo) & helper were skillful and very considerate & helpful. Also slowly so that people could take photos - very helpful. The lodges were all excellent the staff at Pantiacolla Lodge were particularily helpful. Excellent trip. Would do it again and would have no hesitation in recommending the company. Was also impressed with the way Jose managed the varied interests of the group.

Blanquillo had little privacy and the bedding was very musky and old smelling. Others were good. Always lots of food served. We certainly never went hungry! Overall, the food was excellent given the circumstances. The guide was very knowledgable about the wildlife in the park and was great at spotting wildlife that we would have watched right by. However, sometimes I wishes that he spoke up a little more, especially on the drive out to Manu. Overall, we find Pantiacolla to be very trustworthy and we enjoyed our trip to Manu Park.

More blankets and candles in San Pedro. I was very surprised about the food; I loved the soups. Nice job. The guide Miguel was very accommodating and enthusiastic. Good company too. I wish I had planned more time. I would recommend Pantiacolla very highly.

Nicolas is a very nice person generous of his knowledge, aptient and attentive. The cook was excellent, doing miracles with food. For the boat: inform people (men in fact) that it is necessary to have a supplementary shoe to go into the river... Thanks we had a good time in Manu!

JOSé MIR

San Pedro gave a feeling of being in the heart of the jungle. Darwin and Miguel have an excellent knowledge of the jungle and its creatures and were at all times helpful & enthusiastic. It would appear that it is necessary to have a guide present for longer treks as visitors do not have experience of handling jungle conditions and like our 3 got lost.
