The food was very impressive given the conditions. More guacamole would be good - everyone loved it. Nico the guide, is fantastic in every way. An experience we will never forget - Thank you.
All 3 guides were excellent in their own way. Good variety of wildlife. Right amount of breaks - never felt like we were travelling for too long. Everything I hoped it would be.
Jose is a fun and knowledgable guide, the drivers we had were amazing. I really enjoyed the tour, Manu is a magic place! Very special for me to see monkeys in the wild!!!
The hikes + the catamaran rides on the river, as well as the bus rides were great! I had a wonderful time and learned a lot, many thanks!
Loved the accomodations. Would hate to see it get an more western. Very impressed with the quantity and variaty of the food. The trouble the cooks went to with just basic equipment + no refrigerators. Loved Josés (guide) enthusiasm, like it was his first time in jungle. Also loved his humour. Never lost patience or intrest even when asked the same question for the hundreth time!
The quality of the food was good and more than enough. The guide spoke English quite well and had good knowledge of the surroundings. The trip was a unique experience in a unique rainforest. Besides the water supply in one of the lodges I am very satisfied about this trip.
All drivers / boatman were very skilled, helpful and courteous. Early in the season has fewer tourists, but also lodge etc. are not recovered from the rainy season and makes for flooded trails i.e. rougher trip, still beautiful!

The bus the first day was very uncomfortable. The food was great, especially diner. The quality was good en there was more than enough. The sack lunches could improve though. Our guide Darwin was very knowledgable and took care of everyone very well. In our group were also children. Perhaps not all activities are appropriate for all age groups, like birdwatching on the clay licks. My favourite part of the tour was the walk we did in the cloud forest, it was lovely! Would have been great if it was longer.
