Our rain forest adventure has been so memorable.
It has been wonderful to stay in such a pristine wilderness. The sights & sounds of the jungle will stay with me forever. I feel I have learned
so much about the rain forest& it has been amazing to see how the plants & animals have adapted & support each other. It may even have cured me of my phobia of creepy crawlies!

The trip exceeded my expectations in everything.
The could forest and rand forest were absolutely beautiful, and we saw so many animals! I would recommend the trip and Pantiacolla to anyone who
loves the outdoors, wants a truly unique experience, and doesn´t mind a few bugs and a bumpy bus ride!

Loved the food! Appreciated the chef very much. Surprised of what he could come up with given the conditions. Favorite meal was lunch on the boat. Soups were fantastic.
Thanks for the great tour! Enjoyed al aspects of the tour. No complaints, other than the weather. Expected sunshine! Really wanted to see a jaguar, but good to see the variety of birds, monkeys and reptiles.

José (guide) knows a lot about the jungle, he is very professional and very patient. When somebody in the group had a special wish, he did all he could to (try) to make it happen. I volunteer for a longer stay at Manu Reserved Zone!

Een zeer goed georganiseerde reis van 9 dagen naar de jungle. Gidsen met een zeer degelijke kennis van de flora en fauna. Bovendien zeer betrokken bij ons toeristen en afgestemd. Ook belangrijk, goed Engels sprekend. En nog belangrijker, onze gids Darwin houdt van humor.
De rivier, de dieren, otters, panters, vogels, de ara's, enz. allemaal prachtig en fascinerend. De accommodatie onderweg in de 'lodges' zeer plezierig en goed verzorgd. Ook het eten was zeer goed. Vooral de kleinschalige lodges met aparte huisjes zijn heel comfortabel en stil.
Pantiacolla lodge is werkelijk wondermooi. Hier hebben we een onmoeting gehad met Amazone Indianen. Ik was even bang dat dit iets geforceerds zou hebben en een soort 'aapjes kijken' zou worden, maar gelukkig niets van dat alles.
Deze prachtige en verfijnde mensen hebben met trots en een charmante verlegenheid iets van hun cultuur laten zien. Ze hebben verteld, voor ons gedanst en dierengeluiden nagebootst.
Ik hoop van harte dat deze mensen ook als de westerse cultuur over ze heen walst, wat onvermijdelijk gaat gebeuren, toch hun authenticiteit zullen kunnen bewaren.
Het was een perfect avontuur, georganiseerd door bekwame mensen met veel ervaring en kennis.

A very well organized 9-day tour to the jungle. Guides with a good knowledge of flora and fauna. In addition, they were really concerned for us tourists and well tuned. Also important, they spoke good English. And even more important, our guide Darwin likes humor.
The river, the animals, otters, panthers, birds, ara's, etc. were all very beautiful and fascinating. The accommodation in the 'lodges' was very enjoyable and we were well taken care of. Also the food was very good. Especially the small lodges with separate bungalows are very comfortable and quite.
Pantiacolla lodge is absolutely beautiful. Here we had a meeting with the Amazon Indians. I was a bit scared that it would be kind of forced and that it would be something like “watching monkeys”, but luckily it was none of that.
These splendid and refined people have shown, with pride and a charming timidity, something of their culture. They have narrated, danced for us and imitated animal sounds.
I absolutely hope that these people, even if the western culture rolls over them, what will happen inevitably, will keep their authenticity.
It was a perfect adventure, organized by skilled people with a lot of experience and knowledge.

Everyone we worked with from Pantiacolla was extremely kind and helpful. They made our trip possible and enjoyable.
Bus rides were wonderful. Emilio did a great job! The best I think I´ve ever had.
Emilio is an excellent driver. He knows the road and is always willing to stop or accommodate his passengers. The boat ride was really good too.
Emilio deserves a raise no matter what his pay is now.
Friendly drivers who handled that road surprisingly well! Comfortable beds, clean facilities. The food was really good!! Mealtimes were always looked forward to. We had really positive stays at the lodges. Thank you!
Orlando did a great job. I never expected having such a great food in this trip. It is great that he cooks some traditional food and it was delicious. He was always ready to accommodate to our schedules which was really nice.
I was blown away by the food, it was fantastic. Sometimes even too much! I was very impressed overall with the services provided! Especially since I didn´t know what to expect on a group college trip – they really made a good choice with Pantiacolla.
Pantiacolla has taken very good care of us!
I´m really happy with how everything has worked so far…thanks so much!

Our guide Darwin was good humored with our college students. It´s clear he loves Manu & knows it very well. Preparation and safety was first rate. From good life-vests in the boat, to a helper for the bus driver trough the deep holes – from food planning to scheduling, all went very well. Every one of us loved our brief expedition and was sad to leave. I´m sure you´ll receive super reviews. That´s 10 more satisfied customers who will rave about the trip.

This trip was a great experience, I saw seven species of Monkey, fantastic. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. I would recommend Pantiacolla for any one. Jose is an amazing guide, his experience in the forest is a great asset. He thrilled us with stories from the jungle at dinner.

This was a wonderful trip. Darwin is probably the best guide I´ve had in the past 12 years, wonderful fist-hand knowledge of the environment and an engaging demeanor with the students. Driver (Hilmar) was highly skilled. Hubert (cook) was great although I probably gained 5 lb in spite of all of the exercise. This was a winning combo.

There was a clear briefing and meeting with Pantiacolla and the other travelers plus a good guidebook with extensive information about Manu.
The guidebook about Peru which was sent to us by Arno Luft was surprising and informative. Just like the guide book of Marianne van Vlaardingen about Manu. The general travel information gave a good impression about the itinerary of our trip and what we could expect.
It was an extraordinary beautiful, interesting and fun trip. Especially the tropical rain forest and the journey in the bus, driving on bad mountain roads, plagued with heavy rain fall; I wouldn´t have wanted to miss it. It pleased me more than a flight to Manu. Gradually you can see the landscape change and that was beautiful.
The bus was good , there were nice lodges, delicious food, every day a couple of interesting activities and an excellent guide who knows what he´s doing and who expresses himself in English very well.

All the people who worked on our trip were very professional, organized, helpful and efficient – they should be highly recommended. We really appreciated the day at Salvador, with the lake visits – we were lucky to go twice, thanks to our guide and boatmen. Also time to walk the trails at Pantiacolla lodge was a wonderful end to the trip – such a beautiful place. We really appreciated the skills, attitude and dedication of José, our guide. He shared many stories and was excellent at finding and pointing out wildlife and vegetation, very hard working and loves Manu, which made our trip so rich.
Thank you for the wonderful organization on our trip. We will recommend Pantiacolla highly to others!

I have had wonderful days at the Lodge, observing the birds. I almost saw 200 different species, of which at least 30 are quite rare (which is an excellent number). I can tell you that this is one of the best places I have been, most of all your Bambu Area. I have fallen in love with this area and I have no doubts that I will always go there with my groups for at least 3 days.
He pasado buenos días de observación de aves en el Lodge, en el cual he visto casi 200 especies, de las cuales al menos 30 especies difíciles (lo cual es un número excelente) y desde ya te digo que es uno de los mejores lugares en que he estado, sobre todo tu zona de Bambu, he quedado enamorado de esta zona y no tengas dudas que siempre estaré aquí al menos 3 días con mis grupos, que espero sean más cada año.

We just came back from Peru a few days ago and wanted to let you know that we had a FABULOUS time in Manu. What a special place!!! We had Darwin and Jose for our guides and they were amazing. Other staff, Orlando, Richard, and Mercedez (spell?), were fantastic professionals, who all excel in what they do. I looked forward to Orland's cooking every day, which is better than any restaurant that I've tried in Peru! The whole operation was smoothly run and we were all happy with every single aspect of the trip.
Thank you, Marianne, for creating such an amazing opportunity for others to see that special place, Manu, and making it so enjoyable. I hope that we can one day go back to Peru to visit Manu with Pantiacolla again

We would like to thank Pantiacolla for our breathtaking trip into Manu's Reserved Zone. It has been the highlight of our 6 month tour throughout South America. Our guides Jose, Darwin and Tina were extremely knowledgeable and their enthusiasm for the forest was infectious. We loved spotting the wonderful variety of animals and birds from the boat and on the trails. We spied 9 species of monkey, a jaguar, many wonderful frogs, tarantulas, macaws at the clay lick, countless birds, not to mention being surrounded by herd of wild peccaries! The hot springs, night walks and falling asleep to the sounds of the forest were all magical moments.
We would definitely recommend Pantiacolla to anyone considering a trip into the Amazon. Their excellent service, well equipped accommodations, comfortable transport and expert guides all made for an unforgettable experience.

Thank you very much for speaking with the chef to organise the cake, it just made it a really great end to a brilliant day for Dan.
The whole five days were excellent. The tour guides, Darwin and Jose were fantastic, and the boat crew and the bus drivers very professional. We were sad to leave, but enjoyed our hot shower back in the Cuzco hotel last night!
We will certainly recommend Pantiacolla to anyone coming this way.

This May I was able to go AGAIN with your company to Manu.The first time, oct 2003 was wonderfull.
Now, the second time, I received the same excellent service from you all. Gourmetchef Orlando, Cesar and guide Ruby were wonderfull. It became even more special when we watched a jaguar for about 15 minutes...

We honestly would like to thank you and your excellent team again for the wonderful days we had during the 5 day tour last February! The team with Ruby, Melquiades, Richard, and Orlando did an outstanding job! The experience of Ruby (guide) combined with the culinary skills of Orlando (cook) and the help of Melquiades (helper) and Richard (boatsman) made it all perfect.
Besides that, also a lot of compliments to van driver Guilmar and raft instructor Froilan.
We had the pleasure (and luck) to see a lot of beautiful wildlife and
